Ayodo Foundation is a Registered Canadian non-profit providing a not-for-profit Remittance Service.
The focus of our work is enhancing Digital & Financial Inclusion and elimination of the the "digital divide" causing market inefficiencies and limiting economic growth. The true cost of a remittance service is a small portion of the fees being charged by for-profit banks and multinationals. Approximately 1/3 of the world's population remains Digitally Excluded such that digital exclusion has become a root cause of poverty. By partnering with small merchants who are enabled to provide their customers access to the Internet, plus who can freely issue mQR digital identities, we can provide a targeted remittance service without fees.
Ayodo Foundation partners with the Stellar Development Foundation such that mQRs become extremely low cost crypto wallets to provide these services over the Stellar block chain. Because Ayodo is a Canadian incorporate, all funds tendered on this site are made in Canadian Dollars. Keep in mind that upon our receipt of your funds, we then purchase and load a crypto coin, the Stellar Lumer (XLM), to your recipients mQR. Any appreciation, or depreciation, in the value of Lumers (XLM) loaded onto the mQR are the recipients to enjoy or an expense you bear. Once a mQR has been loaded it is considered a prepaid product with an expiry date of 3o days in which time the recipient must spend said remittance. Some merchants may allow cash out to fiat privileges' , while other require goods to be purchased.
