Ayodo Foundation's Board
Brian has a degree in Science from UVic and a diploma in Urban Land Economics from UBC. He founded Ayodo Foundation with a mandate to use digital technologies to help alleviate poverty. Brian is a serial entrepreneur having founded and managed several tech start-up companies especially in the payments arena. He has served on numerous boards, raised millions of dollars in venture funds, conceived and developed and/or patented new technologies.

Leslie has degrees in Life Sciences and Physiotherapy from Queen’s and McGill Universities. She has lived and worked as a clinician in Canada, VietNam, Singapore, and Qatar, in varied clinical settings from orphanages to private clinics to tertiary care hospitals. She now works as the administrator of a busy medical practice in Canada. She has been a Director and the Treasurer of Ayodo Foundation since 2012. Leslie is an intelligent and caring person working tirelessly to reduce inequities and make remittances more affordable.

Prakash ShettyJay Shetty is a senior software engineer with UNIVAR with extensive expertise in the cloud server and data base realms. Jay serves as the Foundation's CTO and is responsible for Ayodo's backend.

Yun LuYun Lu is an acknowledge expert on Blockchain security . Yun with a PhD from the University of Edinburgh is responsible for ensuring Ayodo's open source MQR Digital Identity , with biometric authentication token, is enabled for ledger technology and interoperability.

Luis Talavera

Luis has a MSc in Computer Science from PUC in Rio de Janeiro with a specialty in Networks and Distributed Systems. Luis is an expert in Android coding, having started working for Yodo in 2012 to develop YodoPay under Renato Marroquin our former CTO. Luis now lives and works in Lima as a developer for Globrant ( formerly Belatrix ) and Renato now works for Oracle Labs. Thank you Luis and Renato our products are being used daily by tens of millions of South Americans who previously were unbanked.

Shawn Doyle

Shawn has a Law degree from Harvard University and practiced Corporate law with Cleary Gottlieb in New York for several years prior to relocating to Santiago, Chile where he served as Inside Counsel for a multi billion dollar global Mining Company. Shawn is currently a partner at McCarthy Tétrault while continuing to provide pro-bono legal counsel to both Yodo Incorporated and Ayodo Foundation.

Jose Ayerdis

Jose is a Fulbright scholar and has a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Buffalo specializing in Machine Learning. Jose developed the POS application Pozool now licensed to Ayodo for free distribution as MojaPOS. Jose currently works for PayPal.

Jon Jacox

Jon Jacox has a BEng from UVIC in computer engineering. Jon primarily helped at the early product development stage by advising the team on hardware and coding issues. Jon currently works as a software engineer for Novatel Inc.

Sonya Majidian

Sonya is a graduate from the University of Kurdistan, Sanandaj, Iran. Sonya's work experience includes time spent supporting a NGO in Iran. She served as an Executive Assistant for Ayodo Foundation working in operations and public relations for the Middle East. Sonya currently works in the Canadian Banking industry.
